John (Chef) & Teresa (Manager) Fahey are pleased to have your company.
Together we took over the Delicacy business 4 years ago and sought to return it to its former glory.
Delicacy is a providore that brings a selection of the best the world has to offer, and a cafe that uses the best and freshest local ingredients available.
John has been honored by the restaurant and catering industry with over 40 awards and gold medals and Teresa has presided over award winning restaurants.
We’re a very small business with a 22 seat cafe, but we have a big mission to bring you the best delicacies available, either from external suppliers or the vast majority of our food which is house made in our on-site kitchen.
We are one of the few places to have a full Food safety programme that is externally audited and this allows us to produce a large range of our own terrines and pates on-site.
Unless otherwise mentioned, all ingredients and dishes are prepared fresh to order with no fillers or preservatives. Should you wish to enjoy a sweet treat from the providore a small fee for table service is added.
We will try our best to make your experience at Delicacy memorable both in our cafe and the providore, please do not hesitate to let us know if there is something you feel we can do a little better.
